Carcinosarcoma is a rare primary malignancy of the breast. Besides this, mammary carcinosarcoma displaying a malignant chondrosarcomatous element is an uncommon form of carcinosarcoma that carries an uncertain prognosis because of its rarity. A case of 26-year-old female who admitted with a rapidly growing mammary mass forced us to reconsider diagnostic and therapeutic implications in carcinosarcoma. Radiologic findings failed to reveal the exact diagnosis. Following urgent diagnosis with biopsy, the patient was treated with modified radical mastectomy. She has still been alive and disease free on the 20th month. The previously published reports are reviewed according to the current diagnostic and therapeutic options.
