In this retrospective analysis, according to the diagnostic and therapeutic parameters, we evaluated 245 breast cancer patients who had postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy in the Radiation Oncology Department of Ankara Oncology Hospital between January 1995-December 1999. While 214 patients (%87) were given adjuvant chemotherapy with radiotherapy. 35 patients at stage III B were become operable with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Adjuvant hormonotherapy were given to 70 patients (%29). As 24 of them (%10) were given only hormonotherapy, 46 patients (%19) were given hormonotherapy and chemotherapy. In the mean follow-up time of 33 months, there were 5 patients (%2) with locoregional recurrence and 35 patients (%14) with distant metastasis. Overall and disease free survival rate were not evaluated because of short follow up time.
